About Natalie

Born with a restless curiosity and a gift for making people feel at home, Natalie Victoria Rucshner has spent her career doing exactly that — across three continents, in hotels, classrooms, and now the neighborhoods of Greater Phoenix.

She opened hotels from scratch, managed hundreds of apartments in Dublin, taught children in India, and eventually came home to Arizona to build something of her own. Today she's a licensed Realtor, an Airbnb Superhost, and the owner of NVS Housing LLC — a business her mother started 17 years before she took it over.

Genuine

No scripts, no pressure. Natalie shows up as herself — warm, direct, and genuinely invested in your outcome.

Resourceful

From opening hotels in Montana to managing Airbnbs in Arizona, she figures it out. Whatever the challenge, she finds the path.

Experienced

Three continents. Two industries. One throughline: making people feel taken care of.

The Journey

2004–2008 · Puyallup, WA

The Early Years

Started working young — hostessing, team leading, pharmacy work. Built a foundation of customer service and work ethic that would carry through everything that came after.

2008–2012 · Kent, WA

Hotel Roots

Joined the hospitality industry as Front Desk Manager at Days Inn. Fell in love with the rhythm of hotels — the guests, the pace, the puzzle of operations. This is where it all started.

2011 · Rishikesh, India

Teaching in India

Volunteered as an English teacher at Mother Miracle School in Rishikesh — a class of 30 children, two months, teaching English, Math, and Art. Participated in after-school activities and helped in the school kitchens. A humbling and life-changing experience that left a permanent mark.

Mother Miracle School

2012–2015 · Medford, OR & Sidney, MT

General Manager — IHG

Stepped into General Manager roles at two consecutive Candlewood Suites properties. Opened a brand new 114-room hotel in Sidney, Montana from the ground up — contractors, brand standards, staff, grand opening. One of the hardest and most formative experiences of her life.

2015 · Brisbane, Australia

Going Global

Spent the first three months backpacking across Australia by bus and train — including a stint running the balloon booth at travelling carnivals and EKKA, the Royal Queensland Show, while looking for something more permanent. Eventually settled in Brisbane and joined Governor on Brookes as Duty Manager, managing two hotel towers for four months. Then continued onward through the Red Centre of Australia before heading home.

2017–2019 · Dublin, Ireland

Dublin & a Degree

Settled in Ireland and earned a First Class Honours B.A. in International Business from the American College Dublin — graduating with a 3.75 GPA and serving as Student Union President. Also managed 250+ apartments as Senior Associate at City Break Apartments, handling everything from guest check-ins to technology implementation.

2019 · Surprise, Arizona

Coming Home

Returned to the United States and put down roots in Surprise, Arizona. Earned her Arizona Real Estate license with HomeSmart Realty and began building a client base across Greater Phoenix — bringing the hospitality mindset to every transaction.

2021–Present · Surprise, Arizona

NVS Housing LLC

Took over and grew the family business — NVS Housing LLC, originally built by her mother Vicki Rucshner over 17 years ago. Expanded it into two fully themed five-bedroom Airbnb properties, a high-volume Spring Training housing operation serving MLB organizations, and a growing real estate investment portfolio.

Outside of Work

When she's not closing deals or hosting guests, you'll find Natalie at a festival, out on the water, in the kitchen, or deep in an arts and crafts project. She's the kind of person who brings homemade food to things and remembers your name.
